Great value for money

Great location, lots of places to eat on the street & great bakery next door. The staff were very helpful, especially as they allowed me to store medicine in the cafes fridge. Large room with a balcony over looking the street. Free water cooler/hot outside the room.

It could have been cleaner. However it’s great value for money so you get what you pay for.

Smooth, and pleasant.

A cosy little cafe at the bottom where I enjoyed good Capaccinos, Good sized room above with balcony to watch the world go by. Scooters for rent at a good price, took me to Merbabu and Merapi. Very friendly and helpful staff to get my onward ticket to Malang. Central location.

Air condition was acceptable, but could have been a bit cooler. Shower takes a full minute or two to heat up, and water stains in bathroom, maybe a quick coat of lacquer will rejuvenate. But still very good.

Fantastic accommodation, fantastic city!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were so polite and helpful. We felt instantly at home. The location is absolutely amazing, right in the heart of restaurants and bars in the area. Bed was comfy, room was clean, can’t complain!

We had some ants but nothing too bad.

Cold water in the shower Lack of hair dryer - they should buy at least two to keep in the reception and let the guests to take it as and when they need it Wifi signal was quite weak

Great hotel in Yogyakarta! I really loved the position of the hotel, very central and close to many good restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty as well.

Very Good

- Great location - on the main backpacker street and right next to good cafes - Via Via was really yum! - Well priced scooter hire for 80k, need to give some form of ID as a deposit. - cute balcony with the private rooms - was ideal to sit out in the evening and people watch (would have been too hot during the day) -easily accessible water cooler -towels provided - good aircon

- No fridge - no soap provided - bathroom cleanliness was tolerable but there was extensive soap scum and could have been cleaner. Having said that it was fine for a couple of nights and the pros outweighs the cons making it fairly good value for money.

Excellent!

Everything was excellent. Location, staff are so lovely, clean and comfortable, amazing value for money. Scooters available for rent. Cafe downstairs is so cute with good food options.

The only thing we didn't love was the chanting coming from the mosques nearby at 4 or 4:30 in the morning.

Excellent value hotel

We loved our stay in Agung Inn, and we were very sad to not be able to stay more ! The room is big, with a king size bed, super comfortable. You have AC and hot water in the bathroom. Everything is clean. We had a very good night of sleep. The two people managing the hotel are very nice and helpful. We also rented a scooter for an ok price.

Everything was amazing, the staff so friendly the food that they sell also is too delicious, easy for rent motorbike with them too. We extend 3 days more our estance.

Perhaps one of the best budget bread and breakfast

Good value. Pretty comfy and situated in a middle of Yogyakarta. Amicable staff. Preferable if you want to stay at budget in Yogyakarta, but still want a decent if not satisfactory b&b.

Exceptional

incredibly friendly staff, nice and big rooms, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom. The room was very big and was cleaned daily as well, which we didn't expect at this price, but certainly appreciated. The place serves great coffee, WiFi was very good. Very convenient location with lots of restaurants and bars in the same street and yet very quiet rooms. Moped rental available directly at the hotel. Drinking water available for free. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was amazing, especially the staff and water machines on every floor to refill bottles.

The AC could be a little colder. It doesn't go down to the set number but that's my only complaint. An amazing stay.

Great! I would stay here again

I’d stay here again. Staff is friendly and speak English. The room is old with some stains on the wall, old furniture but it’s clean and cheap. And it room very spacious, AC worked well, we had TV, the shower was decent. We stayed in the twin room on the third floor, the stairs are not comfortable to climb but it was not a problem for us. We booked a double room but I’m glad we got this one as it’s bigger and quieter as it didn’t face the street where you can hear the noise from the parties. But we still could hear the mosque (not too loud though), but I think there is no place on Java where there isn’t a mosque nearby. I loved that they had a free water refill (cold and hot). And they had plugs by the beds, such a rare thing in budget hotels on Java! The area is very cool, if I come back to Jodjya I’d only stay in this area. It’s more comfortable for the western tourists, loads of food options including good local and international food, cheap beers available all around, as well as coffee shops, laundry shops and travel agents.
